Overview

#1 Build realistic 3D map on-line

Phase I:

Activities: work on following functionalities:

– Modular design

– Full autonomy

– Third person view

– Adaptive/Intelligent SLAM

– Feasibility study on ATEX compatibility

Outcome: MandEye proof of concept integrated with Husky platform performing ESMERA mission.

 

Phase II:

Activities: work on commercial product including:

– Modular design

– Full autonomy

– Third person view

– Adaptive/Intelligent SLAM

– ATEX chassis

Outcome: MandEye commercial product as a step beyond the state.

– Third person view (like characters in video games), thus mobile robot will be visualized on on-line photorealistic scene.

– Full autonomy at maximum speed 4 km/h with objects detection and collision avoidance.

– Adaptive/intelligent SLAM – independent from multi sensor configuration assuming limitation of the optical power lower than 35mW.

– Modular design

– MandEye tested in the field
