Only few weeks left until the world’s leading exhibition for Smart Automation and Robotics to open it’s gates: the automatica in Munich.
Of course not without the participation of ECHORD++, which will be covering an area of 150 square meters, presenting more than 10 experiments and PDTI prototypes in Hall B4 booth 317.
What to expect at the ECHORD++ booth?
“Technology transfer from lab to market!” The ECHORD++ mission becomes true at automatica. You will be able to see various robotic prototypes and market-ready solutions for multiple fields of application.
In the field of General Purpose and Robotic Co-Workers you will find the quadruped robots of HyQ-REAL, developed to support rescue activities and ANYmal which resulted out of the ECHORD++ experiment MODUL – a modular elastic actuation (SEA) unit suited for outdoor operations. A highly specialized co-working robot is SIAR, a Sewer Inspection Autonomous Robot from our PDTI Urban Robotics Challenge.
Our experiments CATCH, a cucumber gathering robot and SAGA, a swarm of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) for weeding operations, will show new technology applications used in Agricultural and Food Robotics.
Cognitive Robotic Workers will be represented by the pick&place robot FlexSight, AAWSBE1, an automated waste sorting and battery extracting robot, and WIRES, a robotic system for switchgears.
One of the fastest growing markets in robotics lies in the Medical and Rehabilitation domain: LINarm++ a device for arm rehabilitation and CLARC, the Smart Clinic Assistant Robot for CGA will be present at the ECHORD++ both as well. Additionally, you will also be able to find out more about the ECHORD++ Robotics Innovation Facilities (RIFs) which offer access to high-tech robotic equipment and expertise to everyone.
AND last but not least: don’t miss our Booth Party (B4 booth 317) on the opening day June 19th at 5 p.m. All beneficiaries of the ECHORD++ open calls have been asked to send in pictures and videos of their experiments. The best video and best picture will be announced at the Award Ceremony, moderated by Reinhard Lafrenz, Secretary General of eu-Robotics. We will be hosting for drinks and snacks. Do not hesitate to contact us for free tickets for automatica.
