ESMERA participates with presentation and Q&A session at robot fair R-18

The EU funded project ESMERA (European SMEs Robotics Applications) presents itself on the EXPO Stage at robot fair R-18 in Odense, Denmark. On Wednesday, September 12th between 12 -12:30 p.m., members of the consortium will use the stage

at Odense Congress Center to talk about ESMERA´s goals, funding opportunities, the challenge areas, application possibilities and the selection process. Subsequent to the presentation on stage, the ESMERA booth (number 2644) offers a Q&A-session for interested SMEs.

In January 2018, the European Commission launched the ESMERA project to unlock the innovation potential of SMEs in robotics. ESMERA promotes applied robotics technology developed for industrial challenges, specific problmes, set by key European companies. Thereby the SMEs get a chance to implement, apply and prove new technologies that address real-life problems and thus already have a market.

Within ESMERA´s first open call, started in August 2018, European SMEs have a chance to apply for delivering a robotic solution to a pre-defined challenge and thus, gain funding from the European Commission. Applications are possible until October 31st, 2018 via  http://opencalls.esmera-project.eu. The testing and evaluation for each phase will last nine months. In addition a second open call with new challenges from Energy, Manufacturing, Construction and Agri-Food will open in Fall 2019.
